Szechuen is situated in the remote west, and because

Diplomatic Affairs.
England, America, and other Powers now have a high regard for China. On my return to Canton, I learnt that America is sending a Plenipotentiary to our Country, which probably means that she wants to treat China with equality, In my own opinion if China can be put on the proper political path in 3 or 5 years, our objective of getting all the unequal treaties abolished will be achieved.
